谷歌自动驾驶部门前工程师被刑事起诉控盗取机密
美国司法部刑事起诉谷歌(Google)旗下自动驾驶部门Waymo前工程师Anthony Levandowski,指他盗取自动驾驶技术机密,涉及关键感应科技Lidar,并自行成立自动驾驶技术公司Ottomotto牟利,後者其後被优步(Uber)收购。
Levandowski被控33宗控罪,在美国加州圣荷西裁判法院提堂。被告否认控罪,获准以30万现金及200万美元财物担保,并须交出旅游证件及接受监视。若控罪成立,Levandowski将面临最多10年监禁。
优步与谷歌早前就案件涉及的诉讼达成和解。
