格隆汇获悉,2019年8月26日,TCL电子控股有限公司(“TCL电子”或“公司”;01070.HK)欣然公布,2019年上半年公司互联网业务快速发展,累计收入达3.5亿港元(未经审计),同比大幅增长125%,其中首次新增海外互联网业务收入9602万港元,占上半年互联网业务总收入的28%。
今年上半年,公司在北美、欧洲及南美市场分别深化与Roku (Nasdaq: ROKU)和Google (Nasdaq: GOOGL)的互联网业务合作,共同提升海外TCL电视用户体验。公司加强在海外互联网业务的变现能力,由此成为行业内首家拥有较大规模、持续性的海外互联网业务收入的中国企业。
公司深耕海外市场20年,电视机销量全球排名前二,海外市场已成为公司业务重要发展引擎。公司在持续深化拓展海外各重点市场电视机销售的同时,不断丰富优化互联网内容及提升用户粘性,迄今,互联网业务商业变现能力不断增强,收益日渐丰厚。未来公司将持续大力开拓海外互联网业务,随着全球OTT行业的快速发展和公司海外电视机销量的高速增长,预期未来海外互联网业务将进一步增厚公司整体盈利水平。
此外,目前主要活跃在中国市场和部分海外新兴市场的互联网运营平台雷鸟,2019年上半年实现收入2.5亿港元(未经审计),同比显著增长63.3%。公司积极优化用户体验,丰富平台内容,并加强产品人工智能性能,用户粘性持续增强。上半年,公司互联网业务用户人均开机时长持续增长至5.66小时;截至2019年6月30日,公司全球累计激活用户数达3675万,同比增长34.3%;全球日均活跃用户数达1707万(来源:广州欢网科技有限责任公司)。
