国泰航空(00293.HK)中期扭亏为盈至13.47亿港元派中期息0.18港元
格隆汇8月7日丨国泰航空(00293.HK)公布,截至2019年6月30日止6个月,集团实现收益535.47亿港元,同比增长0.9%;公司股东应占溢利13.47亿港元,上年同期为亏损2.63亿港元;每股盈利34.2港仙,宣派中期股息每股0.18港元。
集团于2019年上半年的客运收益为374.49亿港元,增幅为5.6%。可载客量增加6.7%,收益的增长反映2018年推出新航线、2019年推出两条新航线、现有航线班次增加及于热门航线采用较大型的飞机。运载率维持于84.2%的水平不变。运载乘客人次增至1830万,增幅为4.4%。由于头等及商务客舱及长途航线经济客舱的竞争激烈,加上不利的汇率变动,收益率下跌0.9%至54.9港仙。
货运收益下降,反映部分因中美贸易磨擦而导致环球贸易转差。货运量及收益率均告下降。集团于2019年上半年的货运收益为114.98亿港元,较2018年同期减少11.4%。国泰航空及国泰港龙航空的可载货量增加1.1%,主要是由于新购入的客机提供额外的腹舱载货空间。面对需求疲弱,集团已重整货机的可载货量,并加强特殊货物的运送业务。运载率下降4.9个百分点至63.4%,载货量减少5.7%至97.9万吨,收益率下跌2.6%至1.88港元。
国泰航空及国泰港龙航空的燃油成本总额(未计燃油对冲的影响)较2018年上半年减少6.74亿港元(或4.5%),反映平均飞机燃油价格下跌6.5%及耗油量增加2%。燃油是集团最大的成本,占2019年上半年营业成本总额的28.2%(2018年同期为30.1%)。燃油对冲亏损减少,计及燃油对冲后的燃油成本较2018年上半年减少12.13亿港元(或7.7%)。每可用吨千米耗油量下跌1.5%,反映集团继续推出更多具燃油效益的飞机。
每可用吨千米的非燃油成本减少2.6%,至2.23港元。撇除汇率变动及特殊项目及采纳新会计准则的影响后,减幅为0.9%,反映集团专注提升生产力及效益。
集团于2019年上半年接收四架新空中巴士A350-1000型飞机。于2019年6月30日,已订购的新飞机共67架,将于未来五年间付运。该等新飞机有助进一步提升燃油及营运效益。旗下的波音777机队继续装置最新的经济客舱座椅,该等座椅配备全新高清电视屏幕以供观赏近期增加的机上娱乐内容。旗下所有波音777型飞机及空中巴士A330型飞机正在设置无线网络,而所有A350型飞机均已设置无线网络。
