港股异动|黄金股高开美元疲软致金价攀升1%
格隆汇7月18日丨港股市场黄金股高开,其中山东黄金(1787.HK)和招金矿业均高开近3%。金价周三上涨逾1%,因弱于预期的美国经济数据增加了美国联邦储备委员会(美联储/FED)降息的可能性,拖累美元走低。现货金上涨1.2%,报每盎司1,422.20美元。美国黄金期货收涨0.9%,报每盎司1,423.30美元。美元指数从前一交易日触及的一周高位回落,令黄金对持有其他货币的投资者而言更便宜。此前一份联邦数据显示,美国6月房屋开工连续第二个月下滑。RJOFutures资深大宗商品策略师PhillipStreible表示,“数据显示经济正在放缓,楼市也在放缓,因此美联储极有可能采取激进的降息立场。”“如果美联储打算降息,你便没有理由持有美元,这就是美元指数下跌的原因。”分析师表示,对全球经济增长的担忧也支撑金价。周一公布的数据显示中国经济放缓,加剧了这种担忧。
