邱達昌倡准跨媒體經營現時難棄收費電視業務
有線寬頻(01097.HK)主席邱達昌接受訪問時指,認為香港媒體行業應參考外國的做法,不要設多餘規限,又指假如能同時經營報紙、電台及電視等,更能盡用人手和資源,他舉例指倘記者跨平台工作,亦會有更高工資。
至於會否考慮交還收費電視牌照予政府,他指出月費可為公司帶來可持續收入,認為現時很難放棄相關業務,但亦「永不說永不(Never say never)」,強調相關層面要獲董事會批准,他又認為應借助科技發展改善業務,一些外國同業現時己毋須使用機頂盒,相信OTT亦是需要做的。
