Fund Management Fee & Custody Fee
- Fund Management Fee: Refers to the fee charged to the fund by the fund manager for managing the fund's assets. Most funds charge a fixed management fee rate, which primarily depends on the fund type. Typically, equity funds have the highest management fees, while money market funds or short-term wealth management bond funds have lower rates. Generally, actively managed funds charge higher management fees than passively managed funds.
- Fee Accrual: Fund management fees, custody fees, and distribution/sales service fees are accrued daily or monthly directly from the fund’s total assets. The Net Asset Value (NAV) published on each business day or month is already net of these expenses, so investors do not need to pay them separately on a per-transaction basis.
