鉅虧320億美元！軟銀願景基金進入“水逆期”，能否靠AI逆風翻盤？
香港萬得通訊社報道，軟銀旗下願景基金錄得創紀錄虧損，最近科技股的上漲對軟銀旗艦投資部門度過又一個艱難的一年幾乎沒有幫助。
這家日本巨頭的願景基金在截至3月31日的財年中虧損4.3萬億日元(合320億美元)，而去年同期虧損2.55萬億日元。
軟銀公佈，其願景基金(Vision Funds)的投資虧損爲5.28萬億日元，而去年同期爲3.43萬億日元。儘管科技股今年出現反彈，但整體上仍低於一年前。總體而言，軟銀本財年淨虧損9701.4億日元，低於去年同期的1.7萬億日元。
儘管退出了對打車平臺優步等知名公司的投資，但軟銀表示，它在對中國人工智能公司商湯科技和印尼叫車和電子商務公司GoTo的投資等領域出現了虧損。
過去一年，軟銀一直在退出一些最引人注目的投資，以籌集現金。該公司通過出售T-Mobile和阿里巴巴的股份，縮小了整體虧損。去年8月，該公司表示已出售其在美國叫車巨頭優步(Uber)的剩餘股份。
軟銀首席財務官後藤義光(Yoshimitsu Goto)表示，軟銀投資的公司資本狀況良好。他說，軟銀有多家公司準備上市，這些公司的總估值爲370億美元。他沒有透露這些公司的名字。
軟銀的願景基金投資於高增長股票，全球利率上升導致投資者拋售科技等風險較高的個股，這些股票面臨逆風。
大約一年前，孫正義表示，軟銀將在逆風中進入“防禦”模式，並在投資方面更加自律。這一策略似乎在軟銀今年1月至3月的第四財季發揮了作用，得益於科技股的上漲。軟銀旗下的願景基金第三季度的投資虧損爲2,368億日元，前一季度爲7,303億日元。
軟銀表示，本財年共進行了31.4億美元的新投資或後續投資，低於去年同期的442.6億美元。
在週四的新聞發佈會上，後藤健義光表示，今年是“不穩定”的一年，地緣因素和金融體系不穩定仍然存在。“在第一季度，我們或許能看到一些改善的跡象，但我們不指望這些問題會得到根本解決。”
不過，他表示，人工智能技術取得了“巨大進展”，正在權衡是否保持防禦模式。該公司已準備好再次發起攻勢，將目光投向人工智能公司，這是軟銀長期瞄準的熱門領域。
後藤義光表示：“隨着人工智能革命的到來，我們正準備展開攻勢。”他說，一些軟銀支持的科技公司的股價已經開始反彈。
在重新接受這項技術之前，孫正義在過去十年的大部分時間里一直承諾，軟銀將完全專注於即將到來的“人工智能革命”。他曾表示，人工智能是他2017年推出的1000億美元初創投資工具願景基金的統一主題。
但這些投資主要流向了在人工智能領域沒有明顯基礎的公司，比如辦公空間公司WeWork、酒店公司Oyo和一系列叫車應用。與此同時，軟銀沒有投資OpenAI。
後藤義光說，孫正義對ChatGPT在短短兩個月內實現月平均用戶1億感到興奮。本週早些時候，軟銀移動業務總裁宮川潤一(Junichi Miyakawa)表示，他已經成立了一個團隊，致力於推出日本版ChatGPT。宮川說，孫正義最近向集團工程師做了一個關於如何使用人工智能聊天機器人的演講。
