What are the differences and fees between Trader, Standard, and PRO accounts?

Customers can view details in the App: Click "My" in the bottom right corner → Account level (e.g., Standard, V1/V2/V3) below your profile picture → "View Details".

The main differences are:

  • Trading Commissions: Trader accounts enjoy commission-free trading for Hong Kong and US stocks for one year; Standard accounts enjoy commission-free trading for US stocks for one year; both have lower trading fees than Pro accounts.

  • Features and Permissions: Pro accounts enjoy higher privileges and asset requirements, for example, you need to reach V2 PRO level or above to purchase money market funds.

  • Account Upgrade: After trying the PRO account with a Standard account, the first deposit, regardless of amount, will automatically upgrade the account. At this point, there is one opportunity to manually downgrade (no 30-day waiting period). Subsequent manual upgrades to a Pro account based on asset requirements will require a 30-day waiting period before manual downgrading.

  • A Trader account can be changed to either a Standard or Pro account, but once changed, the Trader account cannot be selected again.

  • Standard and Pro accounts cannot select a Trader account.

  • A Trader account is only available for Hong Kong clients when opening an account.

  • Once a Trader account is selected, it is ineligible for welcome bonuses; Standard and Pro accounts are eligible.
