uSMART HK Account Opening Acceptable Proof of Address Types
| Proof Type | Requirements |
| Household Register / ID Card | Must show the applicant's name and a valid ID card. The address on the ID card must comply with address specifications and be acceptable. Note: The address on the ID card or Household Register must not be a collective household address. Otherwise, an additional personal proof of address is required. |
| Bank Statement | Issued within the last 3 months. Must include both the full name and address of the customer. |
| Property Management Fee Bill | Issued within the last 3 months. Must include both the full name and address of the customer. |
| Telephone Bill | Issured within the last 3 months. Must include both the full name and address of the customer. |
| Real Estate Registration Information / Property Ownership Certificate | Inquiry date / issue date within 3 months. Must include both the full name and address of the customer. |
| Property Management Fee Bill | Issued within the last 6 months to 1 year. Must include both the full name and address of the customer. *The payment due date must be at least 3 months away. |
| Occupancy / Move-in Notice | Issued by a legitimate authority (e.g., Housing Security Center, Property Management Company). Must include name, address, and move-in date (stamp date within 3 months). |
| Residence Permit | Physical photo of the permit, valid (print date within 3 months). Must include both the full name and address of the customer. |
| Tenancy Agreement | The lease agreement is an official version, directly signed by both the landlord and the tenant. The contract text is not handwritten (terms are determined in printed form) and is confirmed with the official seal of a legally existing formal real estate agency. The lease expiration time (remaining lease term) shall not be less than three months. |
