How is the Lock‑up Period Calculated?
Common Tenors: Typically 30 days; some strategies may have a lock‑up period of 90 days or 180 days.
Core Rules:
Redemption is not permitted during the lock‑up period.
Subsequent additional investments do not affect the initial lock‑up period: the period is calculated solely from the date of the first subscription; additional investments will not reset or extend this term.
If you make a new subscription after a full redemption, the lock‑up period will be recalculated from that new date.
Example:
A makes his first subscription on March 1 (lock‑up period: 30 days) and adds more funds on March 15. His lock‑up period will end on March 30, at which time he may redeem the full amount.
If Mr. A submits a new subscription on April 1, a new lock‑up period of 30 days will commence from April 1.
