Board Lots and Odd Lots
The board lot size for buy orders of all Shanghai Connect and Shenzhen Connect stocks is 100 shares. Buy orders must be entered in board lots.
Only sell orders can be accepted in odd lots, and all odd lots must be sold through a single sell order. It is also common for a board-lot buy order to match with an odd-lot sell order, resulting in an odd-lot transaction.
