摩根士丹利發表研究報告指,中美互減關稅令市場氣氛得到改善。該行表示,考慮到穩定的利率、健康的保險銷售趨勢及持續以質量爲重心的轉型等因素,認爲保險股具吸引力。該行又相信,大部分保險股今年次季的新業務價值增長將錄得改善,主要由於基本面穩健。
大摩較看好壽險公司,並較偏好中國平安。該行又看到市場對中國人保更感興趣,認爲其估值吸引,雖然非財險業務的交易估值仍爲負數,但業務質量正逐步改善。此外,由於友邦保險首季表現理想,加上有利的外匯影響,亦受到市場關注。
