《大行》摩通:周企乏私有化新世界(00017.HK)動機 評級「減持」
摩根大通發表研究報告指出,新世界發展(00017.HK)昨日(7日)因市場傳出未經證實的私有化傳聞,其股價一度飆升約20%(相較恆生指數上漲0.3%)。然而收市前,新世界發布澄清公告,否認有關消息。
摩通認為,如果私有化新世界,鄭氏家族(周大福企業)需要承擔超過1,800億港元的債務,缺乏私有化新世界發展的動機。若新世界曾與黑石集團(BX.US)有任何討論,認為在項目層面出售少數股權更為可信。摩通亦不排除新世界配股發行的可能性。
