富豪國際(00078.HK)最高總代價不多2.19億元出售英國倫敦物業 原計劃翻新成酒店
富豪國際(00078.HK)、百利保(00617.HK)與世紀城市(00355.HK)聯合公布,富豪的全資附屬太陽月國際作為賣方,於英國時間7月29日與買方MNX Properties Limited訂立購股協議,出售目標公司全部已發行股本,最高總代價不多於約2,043萬英鎊,折合近2.19億港元,當中包括股東貸款金額約1,946萬英鎊。
目標公司Waterman House Investments Limited主要持有位於倫敦41 Kingsway的永久業權樓宇。富豪國際於2019年收購該物業,原計劃發展為酒店,但因疫情影響及全球經濟環境變化,決定重新評估海外投資策略,專注香港核心酒店及物業業務。集團表示,此次出售符合其出售非核心資產以加強流動資源的策略,所得款項近2.1億港元將用於一般營運資金及減低集團債務。
