國泰(00293.HK)通過削減股本議案 年底前回購一半優先股
國泰航空(00293.HK)今日(11日)招開股東特別大會,就批准建議減少股本議案,共有99.9986%的出席股東投贊成票,僅0.0014%的出席股東反對。由於出席股東所投的贊成票超過75%,此決議案獲得通過。
行政總裁林紹波在會上表示,今年上半年已重新錄得盈利,決定毋須動用政府提供的78億元過渡貸款融資,認為是適當時間早日贖回優先股。
他表示,重建國泰復常之路已經步上正軌,集團一直希望早日回購優先股,待今日的股東特別大會通過決議,便年底前回購50%的優先股,涉及97.5億元,而餘下的50%則會在明年7月底前回購。(ca/u)
