穆迪警告:美國政府關門對主權信用產生負面影響
評級機構穆迪周一(25日)表示,美國政府關門將為美國主權信用產生負面影響,指事件將突顯美國機構和治理實力較其他頂級政府相比弱勢,但相信對美國經濟影響或屬短暫。
如果美國國會未能為10月1日開始的財政年度提供資金,美國政府服務將受到干擾,數十萬聯邦工作人員將無薪休假。對政策制定者和投資者至關重要的美國主要經濟數據亦將無限期暫停公布。
穆迪給予美國政府AAA評級,指美國於財政赤字擴大和債務承受能力惡化下,導致財政實力下降,加上政治兩極化,加劇對財政政策制定造成重大限制。
