英特爾(INTC.US)被歐盟反壟斷機構重新判罰4億美元
美國半導體巨擘英特爾(Intel)(INTC.US)繼之前被歐盟法院撤回破當時紀錄的10.6億歐元罰單後,周五(22日)再被歐盟反壟斷機構重新罰款3.76億歐元(約4億美元)。
歐盟指就發現Intel曾進行一系列反壟斷行為,旨在在相關市場趕走競爭對手,從而違反歐盟反壟斷法規;歐盟就之前已確立Intel在名為x86中央處理器的電腦芯片濫用市場主導地位的指控上,重新施加較小規模的罰款。
Intel今年較早時間已預警,歐盟就早前已確立的反壟斷指控重新展開行政程序。去年Intel在面對歐盟反壟斷訴訟上取得重大勝利,歐盟普通法院指監管機構在2009年裁定Intel向電腦生產商提供非法回扣以排擠競爭對手AMD(AMD.US)有重大錯誤。
不過,歐盟法院今日確認在歐盟反壟斷法規下,Intel有濫用其市場支配地位。
