全美汽車工人聯合會獲罷工授權 重申不延長勞資談判期限
代表美國底特律三大車廠約15萬名工人的全美汽車工人聯合會(UAW),已獲工人表決授權,在現有四年合約下月14日到期前未能與資方取得新合同下發起罷工。有關授權獲97%投票工會成員支持。
工會總裁Shawn Fain重申,工會沒計劃延長談判期限,又指工會有大量選項,但不包括延長現有合約。美國總統拜登關注該工會可能發起的罷工,又指有可能出現現有工作被新工作取代,薪酬待遇應相稱。
底特律三大車廠包括通用汽車(GM.US)、福特(F.US)及Stellantis旗下佳士拿。
