大摩料聯儲局最終加息至5.25厘並將維持一段時間
摩根士丹利(MS.US)首席固定收益策略師Jim Caron表示,市場尚未反映聯儲局應對通脹飆升的決心,雖然聯儲局官員預測明年將會加息至5厘以上,但交易員繼續低估政策收緊的力度。
聯儲局上周宣布加息半厘,將聯邦基金利率目標區間上升到4.25厘至4.5厘,而點陣圖顯示明年底利率為5.1厘,高於上一輪預測的4.6厘。不過市場仍然估計聯儲局會在明年5月會議前加息略高於半厘,然後在明年底減息半厘。Caron稱,除非發生戲劇性的事件,否則聯儲局將在一段時間內將利率維持在5.25厘以確保通脹得到控制。
