陳茂波:政府支持建造業界應用創科
新地(00016.HK)與香港理工大學合作推行三項創科建築研究計劃,並設立獎學金資助修讀房地產或工程相關學科的理大學生。財政司司長陳茂波出席合作備忘錄簽署儀式致辭時表示,未來香港整體工程開支總量料達每年3,000億元,龐大工程量爲建造業界帶來機遇,但業界亦需面對人手不足、控制成本及綠色減排等問題,而創科就是應對問題的關鍵,能夠爲業界帶來更大效應。
他指,政府支持業界應用創科,同時亦帶頭應用,包括以先行先試方式使用創新物料及技術、推動政產學研合作,及提供財政資源如建造業創新基金,推動創科研發。
另外,新地主席郭炳聯提到,集團積極於旗下建築採用新技術,期望將科研落地轉化及產業化,達至節能減排。而集團亦作出環保承諾,目標於2029年至2030年或之前,降低溫室氣體排放減少25%、耗電強度減少13%、建築廢料分流達70%、用水量減5%等,並爭取旗下所有新落成投資物業均獲取LEED認證。
