《大行報告》高盛料人行外匯存款準備金率釋130億美元流動性 估影響小 但釋強烈政策信號
就中國人民銀行公布,為提升金融機構外匯資金運用能力,自下周四(15日)起,下調金融機構外匯存款準備金率2個百分點,即外匯存款準備金率由現行8%下調至6%。高盛發表報告表示,由於美元走強,人民幣兌美元匯價自8月中旬以來已累計貶值超過3%,估計今次措施有助於增加130億美元(約1,020.4億港元)外匯流動性,從而降低人民幣貶值壓力。
該行認為,雖然今次雖然增加130億美元流動性,對外匯流動性的實際影響很小,但此次下調是一個強烈的政策信號,表明人行對貨幣的快速貶值感到不安。在宣布此消息後,離岸人民幣匯價立即呈小幅升值。
展望未來,高盛預計短期內美元兌人民幣匯價將繼續走強,未來三個月會處於「七算」水平。
