ALCO HOLDINGS(00328.HK)：AEDGL的生產線已於正式停止運營
格隆匯9月2日丨ALCO HOLDINGS(00328.HK)公佈，公司董事會注意到，社會上發佈有若干關於終止運營集團其中一間附屬公司愛高電業(東莞)有限公司("AEDGL")的新聞稿，且當中的內容未必準確。董事會僅此宣佈，AEDGL的生產線已於2022年8月31日正式停止運營。AEDGL目前正根據地方政府機構的安排清償未償還債務並將在獲得地方政府機構批准後註銷。由於中美之間持續的貿易戰及新冠疫情的爆發，生產線的維持變得更加困難，進而導致運營成本大幅增加。
誠如集團截至2022年止年度的年報所述，集團於最近幾個財政年度進行精細化運作，以改善其流動性狀況，例如生產線逐步減產及外包生產職能，以更好地控制成本。誠如集團2022年年報所披露，集團錄得股東應占虧損約5.95億港元，部分乃由於銷售額下降約54%所致。由於銷售額持續大幅下降，生產線面臨產能過剩及勞動力利用不足的情況。集團於年初已開始裁減過剩的工人及辦公室人員，並將工廠閒置空間轉租給其他方。地方政府一直在協助AEDGL的生產線停產，並於2022年8月31日通知集團，地方政府已批准生產線停產。
董事會認為(i)上述充滿挑戰的環境；(ii)自有生產模式目前嚴重虧損；(iii)產能過剩；及(iv)向更具成本效益的委託原始設備製造商("OEM")╱原始設計製造商("ODM")模式的遷移，皆使維持生產線不再具有商業可行性。因此，董事會經周詳及適當考慮後，決定停止生產線的運作，以改善集團的財務狀況。由於生產線自2021年初起逐漸減產，故生產線的產量很低。因此，生產線停產將不會對集團的財務表現及運營產生重大影響。
董事會認為，在現階段停止經營符合集團及其股東的整體最佳利益，使集團能夠將其資源集中於OEM/ODM模式的產品供應。董事會認為，分包生產線將改善成本控制，從而為股東帶來最大回報。
