國泰(00293.HK)第四度延遲派優先股息 累欠港府11.7億元
國泰航空(00293.HK)公布,董事局已議決延遲派付原定於今年8月12日到期應支付予優先股持有人的股息。根據公司章程所載列的優先股條款規定,任何延遲派付的優先股股息將予累計並構成欠款。
有關條款更規定,在該等欠款完全支付前,公司將不會派發普通股股息或回購其普通股。
國泰於2020年向政府發行195億元優先股,自發行日起計滿3年之日的年利率為3厘,第4年及第5年的年息分別為5厘及7厘,之後的年息則為9厘。每半年支付一次股息。以此計算,首三年的每半年應付優先股股息約2.93億元,四次累計拖欠約11.7億元。
