極光CEO羅偉東榮獲香港理工大學“傑出研究生校友”榮譽
2022年是香港迴歸25週年，也是香港理工大學(以下簡稱“理大”)建校85週年。值此之際，理大研究生院舉辦首屆“傑出研究生校友獎”評選，以公開表彰他們在專業、研究和創業方面的獨特成就及有影響力的貢獻。中國領先的客户互動和營銷科技服務商，極光(Nasdaq:JG)創始人兼CEO羅偉東和其他四名理大校友榮獲此項榮譽。
羅偉東本科畢業於中國人民大學，後赴香港理工大學取得電子計算學系碩士學位。2011年，羅偉東在深圳創立極光，並於2018年7月帶領極光(Nasdaq:JG)登陸納斯達克，成為中國首家移動開發者服務和大數據應用上市公司。經過多年發展，極光目前已經成長為中國領先的客户互動和營銷科技企業，截止2022年3月，極光已經為數十萬開發者提供服務，超過182.4萬款APP通過SDK和API接入極光的各類服務。
羅偉東認為：“科技企業要時刻不忘為社會創造價值”。疫情以來，羅偉東帶領極光積極地把自己的創新和技術能力應用到疫情防控中，為全國數百個地市提供了有效支撐，爭取了寶貴的時間。
