大新銀行:料本港5月零售業表現保持穩健
大新銀行高級經濟師溫嘉煒表示,本港4月零售銷售貨值按年上升11.7%,扭轉3月的13.8%跌幅,優於該行預期下跌7.5%;銷貨量亦按年上升8.1%。
他指,零售業表現較3月明顯改善,主要反映消費券發放,加上社交距離措施在4月底放寬,進一步刺激零售市道,估計消費券刺激作用或達40至50億港元。
該行估計,5月零售業表現會保持穩健,隨著疫情更趨穩定,更多人選擇於5月外出消費,支持零售市道,6月及往後的零售表現,則要視乎疫情發展、就業市場改善情況以及第二期消費券發放時間表等。(ca/u)
