對衝大佬阿克曼抄底奈飛
知名對衝基金管理人比爾·阿克曼(Bill Ackman)旗下的潘興廣場資本管理公司週三表示，在奈飛(NFLX.US)Q1財報公佈其訂戶意外下降，且預計Q2將迎更大降幅後，該公司已出售了所持奈飛股份，損失約4.35億美元。截至週三收盤，該股收跌35.12%，報226.19美元，成爲今年標普500指數中表現最差的股票。隨着週三的暴跌，該股今年迄今已累計跌超60%。
此前，阿克曼在奈飛公佈2021年第四季度財報後開始建倉。阿克曼一口氣買了310萬股，價值超10億美元，並一舉成爲奈飛前20大股東。值得一提的是，阿克曼在買入奈飛時，該股股價當時已經因市場擔憂其訂戶羣而開始下跌了，而購入奈飛的資金則是來自於一項利率對衝平倉而產生的12.5億美元收益。
阿克曼購入奈飛時曾表示，當投資者對最近一個季度的訂戶增長和管理層的短期指引反應消極時，就會出現以具有吸引力的估值收購奈飛的機會。此外，該基金經理還提到該公司的優勢，包括基於訂閱的商業模式和管理團隊。時隔不到三個月後，阿克曼在致股東的信中表示，其基金在2022年整體下跌了2%，且計劃將出售奈飛股份的資金用於其他機會。
事實上，對奈飛的投資並不是這位億萬富翁投資者的第一次重大虧損。阿克曼承認，在與卡爾•伊坎(Carl Icahn)發生爭執後，其在康寶萊(HLF.US)的空頭頭寸上投資失敗了，並因錯誤地押注Valeant Pharmaceuticals International Inc.而損失了40億美元。此外 ，其空白支票公司Pershing Square Tontine Holdings Ltd.也很難找到收購目標，該公司在2020年7月首次公開募股(ipo)中籌集了40億美元，目前尚未完成併購交易。
但無論如何，阿克曼近年來還是成功地改善了自己的財富狀況，包括2019年和2020年在其位於紐約的對衝基金連續幾年獲得創紀錄的回報。讓人感到遺憾的是，奈飛作爲科技股“FAANG”中的“N”，曾在過去幾年推動了市場的大部分樂觀情緒，如今卻成了該集團的“墮落天使”。
現在，奈飛正考慮推出一個有廣告支持的版本，同時也表示將打擊賬戶共享的用戶等方式來提高收入，但這也恰巧表明該股訂閱用戶高速增長的好日子已經過去了。
