渣打上調美聯儲加息預期 料今年5月及6月議息會議各加息50點子
渣打駐紐約的G-10貨幣研究負責人Steve Englander發表報告,上調美聯儲加息步伐預期,料美聯儲今年5月及6月議息會議各加息50點子,原先料各次會議加息25點子。該行增加今年12月加息25點子預測,料今年底聯邦基金利率目標範圍升至2%,原先預期爲1.25%。
該行稱,承認低估美聯儲改變立場的速度。該行剔除明年首季加息預測,維持次季加息預測,料次季及之後利率爲2.25%,原先估算爲1.75%。該行至7月對聯邦基金利率預測與市場相近,但之後則有顯着分別。
