國泰航空(00293.HK)2月載客量按年升47.9% 載貨量跌20.9%

國泰航空(00293.HK)公佈，2月份載客約3.13萬人次，按年增加47.9%，相比疫情前2019年2月的水平下跌98.9%。收入乘客千米數按年上升5.2%，但與2019年2月相比仍減少99%。乘客運載率增加33.8個百分點至47.6%。首兩個月，載客人次雖然較去年同期增加8.6%，但運力下跌72.8%，而收入乘客千米數亦減少12.5%。
國泰航空2月份運載6.51萬公噸貨物，按年減少20.9%，與2019年2月相比減少50.4%。月內的貨物收入噸千米數按年下跌53.3%，與2019年2月相比減少67.9%。運載率上升0.9個百分點至80.5%。首兩個月，載貨量較去年同期下跌27.1%，運力下跌59.1%，而貨物收入噸千米數則下跌59.6%。
顧客及商務總裁林紹波表示，香港實施的旅遊及營運規限持續影響客運運力，在2月份的客運運力較疫情前水平不足2%，相對1月份的運力進一步減少約28%。貨運方面，長途貨運航班因應機組人員的檢疫措施而削減。2月份運作的貨運運力相當於疫情前的25%。由於當局收緊中國內地與香港的跨境陸路貨運安排，加上香港的疫情升溫，導致本地市場需求減少。此外，在農曆新年過後，由亞洲前往長途航點的需求復甦步伐亦較市場預期緩慢。
林紹波預期，3月份的客運需求將不會有顯着的復甦跡象。至於貨運方面，在長途貨運航班的營運能力持續受壓下，重新部署前往北亞和印度次大陸的貨機航班，盡力爭取業務商機。3月份由香港運載的出口貨量將仍受壓，但其他市場的需求轉強，公司團隊將全力捕捉市場契機。
