必和必拓料通脹將拖累2022年全球經濟增長
格隆匯3月8日丨必和必拓(BHP.US)下調了對今年全球經濟增長的預期,公司CEO Mike Henry預計全球經濟增速將低於上月預測的5%。他表示,大宗商品價格飆升可能會對通脹產生溢出效應,而烏克蘭的衝突又增加了進一步的不利因素。Henry認為,由清潔能源轉型和人口增長等長期因素推動的需求驅動型通脹,對必和必拓來説是一個機遇,但不應該被短期內價格高企的事實誤導,產生一種錯誤的安全感。Henry説,烏克蘭發生的事件也凸顯了必和必拓去年決定進軍鉀肥領域的重要性。必和必拓在加拿大的Jansen項目投資了57億美元。他説,該公司的部分計算是,考慮到生產集中在俄羅斯、白俄羅斯和加拿大,市場很可能會中斷。Henry還稱,如果公司現在的供應價格是每噸600美元,那將會對利潤有一個很好促進作用。
