大新:料第四季失業率續跌至4.5%以下 消費券效果顯現
本港最新失業率回落至4.7%,大新銀行高級經濟師溫嘉煒表示,數字較市場預期低0.2個百分點,符該行預期。失業率進一步下跌反映本地疫情緩和,經濟活動逐步回復正常,消費意欲改善,支持零售行業增聘人手,運輸及建造業的失業人數也有較顯著減少。
他指,零售業就業情況過往幾個月已大幅改善,消費券對刺激就業的效果或會於未來兩三個月進一步浮現,但部分商戶或以現有人手應付需求增加,未必會令相關行業失業率再顯著下跌,該行預期第四季失業率將跌至4.5%以下。
