《美股業績》萬事達卡上季不計特殊項目盈利升36% 勝預期
萬事達卡(MA.US)公佈,今年第二季不計及特殊項目的盈利增長36%至19億美元,每股經調整攤薄盈利爲1.95美元,優於市場預期的1.75美元。
上季萬事達卡總美元簽帳額增長33%至1.9萬億美元,主要受惠於於美國政府的大規模刺激計劃。同時由於企業開始重新營運,旅遊業亦顯示出反彈跡象,季內跨境簽帳額以當地貨幣計算增長58%。
萬事達卡行政總裁Michael Miebach表示,海外旅遊仍處於復甦的早期階段,美國及拉丁美洲之間的旅遊需求有所改善,歐洲境內的旅遊需求亦見提升。
