美富國銀行停止向個人客戶提供授信額度
《CNBC》報道,美國富國銀行(Wells Fargo)(WFC.US)未來數週將停止向個人客戶提供授信額度。該行一般會爲個人客戶提供3,000至10萬美元授信額度,以整合高息信用卡欠款、支付家居裝修或避免因支票賬戶透支遭罰款。
報道引述該行長達6頁的信件指,該行決定停止提供個人及組合授信額度賬戶,並關閉所有現存相關賬戶。銀行將集中於信用卡及個人信貸業務。
美聯儲2018年因應富國銀行假賬戶醜聞,限制該行資產負債表規模作爲懲罰。該行因此被迫停止多項業務。該行去年暫停所有新屋授信額度,其後退出汽車信貸業務。
