國泰(00293.HK)5月載客逾2.4萬人次按年增30% 惟較疫情前跌99.2%

國泰航空(00293.HK)公佈，今年5月載客逾2.4萬人次，按年增加30%，但相比2019年5月疫情前的水平下跌99.2%。收入乘客千米數按年上升24.5%，但與2019年5月相比減少98.9%。乘客運載率下跌2.9個百分點至26.7%，以可用座位千米數計算的運力亦上升38%，唯較2019年5月下跌96.5%。
在今年首五個月，載客人次較去年同期下跌97.3%，運力下跌88.6%，而收入乘客千米數則下跌97%。
國泰航空於5月運載9.24萬公噸貨物及郵件，按年下跌6.4%。月內的貨物及郵件收入噸千米數按年減少16.9%。運載率上升7.5個百分點至81%。以可用貨物及郵件噸千米數計算的運力則削減24.5%。在今年首五個月，載貨量較去年同期下跌23.2%，運力下跌37.3%，而貨物及郵件收入噸千米數則下跌25.5%。
國泰航空顧客及商務總裁林紹波表示，集團開始審慎地逐步恢復若幹航線和增加航班。月內，集團重啓往來福州、杭州和杜拜的航班，令客運運力按月輕微增加6.6%。然而，相對於2019年5月的疫情前水平，集團僅營運3.5%的運力，每日平均接載的乘客處於774人次的低位。運載率雖是去年6月以來的新高，但仍僅爲26.7%。
展望6月，集團會繼續增加客運航班，以滿足中國內地、英國及美國市場的需求，其中包括增加倫敦航班班次，以配合留學生由6月中回港的需求。集團亦於本月復飛多個航點，包括阿姆斯特丹、布裏斯本、法蘭克福、三藩市、首爾和溫哥華等等。貨運方面，整體需求保持穩健。由於客機腹艙的貨運運力仍然受壓，集團將會陸續恢復各網絡航點的貨機航班班次。集團的貨機機師疫苗接種率高企，亦能受惠於檢疫隔離規定的放寬。
他提到，已有約90%的駐港機師及超過64%的駐港機艙服務員已預約接種疫苗或已接種疫苗。今年至今，集團駐港的機組人員在抵港時及其後的日子已接受逾4.4萬次病毒檢測，當中並無陽性結果。(ek/u)
