惠普及戴尔警告晶片短缺持续将影响电脑生产
《路透》报道,美国两大个人电脑生产商惠普(HP)(HPQ.US)及戴尔(Dell Technologies)(DELL.US)均警告,电脑晶片短缺持续影响他们今年满足市场需求的工作。
戴尔财务总监Thomas Sweet在业绩电话会议中表示,部件供应情况仍然受限,采购有关晶片的成本上涨将对现季度经营溢利造成低至中单位数的影响,并使收入按季轻微减少。惠普亦指,晶片短缺将限制公司生产个人电脑设备及打印机的能力,且情况最少延续至今年年底。
但两间公司均对整体市场感到乐观,预期民众工作需要及学校继续遥距教学将导致手提电脑需求急升。
