OSL於AirCarbon交易所購買AirCarbon資產掛鈎代幣，抵消BC科技集團(00863.HK)三年碳足跡
2021年4月22日 - 香港、新加坡 - BC科技集團(“BC集團”)今日宣佈，OSL於AirCarbon交易所(“ACX”)購買和註銷自願性碳信用，以全額抵消BC集團2018年至2020年三年間的碳足跡。BC集團(股票代碼：863)是亞洲領先的數字資產及金融科技上市公司，旗下有持香港證監會牌照的OSL數字資產平台。ACX是位於新加坡的碳信用交易所。
ACX將自願性碳信用證券化為“國際航空碳抵消和減排計劃合資格代幣”(“CET”)。BC集團旗下OSL於ACX購買CET，並註銷其代表的碳信用額度。以上碳信用額度由Verra的核證碳標準項目發行，由印度可再生太陽能項目生成，滿足多個聯合國可持續發展目標，其中包括氣候行動、良好健康、優質教育、清潔飲水和經濟增長。註銷該些信用額度代表BC集團抵消了2018年、2019年和2020年披露的共逾647噸二氧化碳當量(温室氣體排放噸數)。
每枚CET代表國際航空碳抵消和減排計劃(“CORSIA”)中對應合資格的碳信用。在ACX上市的所有碳信用額度均經過英國標準協會的獨立認證。英國標準協會是世界首個國家標準機構，為國際標準化組織的創始成員。此舉確保碳信用符合代幣種類的規格。

BC集團註銷的碳信用由Ghani太陽能可再生能源項目產生(項目編號：1792)。該項目提供清潔電能，由太陽能廠為印度電力公司生產，以替換使用石油能源的電廠產生的電力，從而避免排放二氧化碳(第13個聯合國可持續發展目標：氣候行動)。此外，該項目支持建設醫療營地(第3個聯合國可持續發展目標：良好健康與福祉)，並改善周邊村莊和社區獲得優質教育(第4個聯合國可持續發展目標：優質教育)和清潔飲水(第6個聯合國可持續發展目標：清潔飲水和衞生設施)的機會。該項目還舉辦技能培訓研討會，併為當地年輕人創造就業機會(第8個聯合國可持續發展目標：體面工作和經濟增長)。
