ASM太平洋(00522)料次季新增订单恢复平稳增长
ASM太平洋(00522)首季新增订单总额达10.1亿美元,按年增长逾73%,超出早前7亿美元的预测。行政总裁黄梓达解释,主要由於工业应用、汽车行业需求增加,带动首季半导体产品及SMT解决方案业务好过预期。但他估计,次季将回复至平稳增长,认为投资者对半导体市场看法积极将利好销情,对提升市场份额有帮助。
集团预测第二季收入将介乎6亿至6.5亿美元,他指出居家工作带动对移动及个人电脑设备需求,AIoT、5G发展、工业及汽车电动化趋势,以及Mini LED发展逐渐成熟,加上首季录得未完成订单12.1亿美元,对达成目标有信心。
问及半导体短缺问题,他表示一直与客户密切沟通,并会因应订单需求,增加外判合作伙伴的产能,至於内部产能则会审慎调整。
首季毛利率录39.6%,按季及按年分别提升4.12及2.68个百分点。首席财务总监周佩芬表示,未来销量提升及产品组合调整下,预期中长期毛利率可持续改善。
