澳洲国民银行未排除收购花旗零售银行业务 花旗称已获买家接洽
澳洲国民银行(NAB)未有排除收购花旗於当地的消费金融及信用卡业务,较早时花旗宣布退出13个市场的零售银行业务,当中包括中国、澳洲及印度等。
澳洲国民银行行政总裁Ross McEwan出席国会质询时,拒绝排除或评论任何具体交易。他称,该行目前的策略是加大自身业务发展,但一如其他企业,该行亦会寻找可能会提升客户服务及效率的交易。
花旗表示,在澳洲的贷款总额为93亿澳元,占全球消费金融业务的3.5%,数字较过去一年缩减12%,而目前澳洲零售银行业务已收到多个买家的兴趣。
