谷歌就招聘及薪酬歧视与美国达成380万美元和解
美国劳工部表示,谷歌将斥资380万美元,以解决公司内部女性及亚洲人薪酬偏低及职位空缺较少的问题。
劳工部调查发现,谷歌2014年至2017年在加州及西雅图的软件工程小组中,有2,783名女员工的薪酬偏低
。同时截至2017年8月31日的一年内,女性及亚洲人在三藩市、加州及华盛顿州的软件工程师职位招聘率仍较低。
在今次和解协议中,谷歌将向5,500名员工及求职者支付260万美元的薪金补偿,并要求谷歌审查招聘及薪酬条款。
