台湾经济部:台积电将尽可能优先生产汽车晶片
台湾经济部向《路透社》表示,台积电(TSM.US)如果能够进一步提高产能,将优先考虑生产汽车晶片。目前全球晶片短缺已经影响汽车生产,经济部部长王美花昨日已就此问题与台积电高层展开讨论。
台积电表示,目前产能已满负荷,但保证如果可以提高产量,将与政府合作优先生产汽车晶片。较早时德国经济部长Peter Altmaier 致函台湾政府,希望能说服台积电提高汽车晶片的供应。
台湾经济部表示,去年底已从外交渠道收到来自美国及欧盟希望台积电加大生产的要求,而今年亦收到来自德国及日本的请求。
