格隆匯 1 月 20日丨莎莎國際(00178.HK)發佈公吿,由2020年10月1日至12月31日止第三季度,集團整體零售及批發業務營業額按年下跌36.4%,跌幅有所收窄,受多項因素影響,包括香港特區核心市場在上一個財政年度基數較低,減輕了按年銷售表現的壓力,加上澳門特區受惠於通關後內地訪客人次回升,以及電子商貿業務及中國內地業務錄得增長。按季而言,集團第三季整體營業額較第二季上升34.8%。

在香港及澳門特區,第三季的零售及批發營業額按年下跌48.8%,按季則上升35.6%。按季銷售表現持續改善,主要是由澳門特區帶動,當地政府由去年8月逐步重新開放中國部份城市旅遊簽註,並於9月底全面恢復至全國,帶動內地客的交易宗數及銷售大幅反彈,加上澳門特區政府刺激本地消費的措施奏效,澳門特區的第三季零售銷售按季回升122.5%,而按年跌幅則由第二季的72.9%收窄至第三季的45.0%。

香港特區銷售仍然以本地客為主導,去年11月爆發第四波新冠肺炎疫情,內地旅客人次低迷,持續拖累集團的銷售表現。12月聖誕節的本地消費氣氛輕微好轉,帶動第三季的零售銷售按季增長8.2%,按年跌幅亦收窄至50.8%。未來數月,預計香港特區的經營環境依然嚴峻,集團會繼續理順店鋪網絡,以減省租金開支,並嚴格控制整體成本和存貨水平,保留營運資金。集團亦着力調整產品組合,引入受歡迎的熱銷產品,迎合本地顧客的需求。隨着新冠肺炎疫苗的接種計劃有望於今年內展開,集團希望疫情儘快減退,香港特區將陸續放寬入境強制檢疫措施,使零售業得以逐步復甦。

第三季度,集團的電子商貿業務成功把握去年11月上旬中國內地延長了“雙十一購物節”的商機,同時繼續利用微信小程序及其他社交媒體拓展線上線下(O2O)業務,電子商貿業務的銷售按年上升66.5%,按季增幅為61.8%。

在中國內地,集團持續按計劃開設新店,期內店鋪總數淨增長6間。雖然個別城市出現新冠肺炎的零星爆發,影響鄰近店鋪的表現,但中國內地的零售業務仍能在第三季錄得15.6%的按年增長,主要因為零售網絡擴張,以及同店銷售增長1.9%。至於馬來西亞市場則仍然受到新冠肺炎疫情影響較大,第三季銷售按年跌38.5%。

集團調整業務策略,積極拓展具潛力的市場及線上業務,以助莎莎未來達致更平衡的業務組合,實現穩健及可持續的發展。於第三季度,香港及澳門特區以外的市場(包括中國內地、馬來西亞和電子商貿)的零售及批發業務營業額按年升幅為15.8%。
