調研機構指去年航空旅客量跌至1999年水平
旅遊數據及分析公司Cirium表示,新冠疫情及其影響導致去年全球航空旅客數字跌至1999年水平,收入乘客公里數(RPK)按年跌67%至2.9萬億。航空公司去年截至12月20日共營運1,680萬個航班,較2019年的3,320萬大減49.4%,逾40間航空公司結業或暫停營運,並預計今年有更多航空公司結業。
Cirium預期航空客運需求將在2024年或2025年反彈,本地及消閒旅遊會率先持續復甦。
