信贷评级机构穆迪确认加拿大信贷评级「Aaa」,评级展望维持「稳定」。
穆迪指,加拿大经济强劲及政策有效性,使其对冲击有高度韧性。加拿大历史性低息亦纾缓当地政府今年因应新冠疫情大幅增加开支的影响。加拿大今年财政赤字将为二次大战以来最大。
穆迪预期加拿大经济今年收缩6%,明年及後年分别按年增长5%及3.5%。穆迪认为,即使受新冠疫情影响,加拿大经济及财政出现明显及长期疫弱的风险偏低。尽管疫情导致政府财政今年急速转差,但加拿大对财政稳健的长期政治共识,相信该国财政状况在疫後可逐步恢复。
