香港資源控股(02882.HK)澄清與涉及金條租賃詐騙計劃無關連
格隆匯 11 月 5日丨香港資源控股(02882.HK)發佈公告，董事會從2020年11月4日發佈的若干媒體報道注意到，在香港警方於2020年11月4日舉行的新聞發佈會上，香港警方宣佈拘捕六名與涉及金條租賃的詐騙計劃有關的嫌疑詐騙人並將四名人士列入通緝名單。香港警方進一步報告，該等詐騙人向受害人訛稱金條租賃由香港一家上市公司擔保。
2019年末及2020年初，公司收到若干人士(“宣稱受害人”)的律師函，該等宣稱受害人指控(其中包括)一名獨立第三方(“黃金出借方”)為公司的代理人且公司為金條租賃的使用者及擔保人(“錯誤陳述”)，且該等宣稱受害人已根據錯誤陳述向黃金出借方出租其金條。
公司堅決否認有關指控並澄清(i)公司並非該等宣稱受害人與黃金出借方的間任何協議的一方，及(ii)公司從未向黃金出借方租賃或借入金條。自公司向該等宣稱受害人發出答覆函以來，公司並無收到彼等的任何進一步消息。公司要求黃金出借方作出解釋，但無法與的取得聯繫。
為免遭錯誤陳述誤導，公司已於2020年4月向香港警方報告錯誤陳述相關事宜。公司亦就錯誤陳述於公司網站刊發一份澄清公佈。公司已與香港警隊商業罪案調查科展開合作，對詐騙計劃進行調查。公司正準備迴應商業罪案調查科提出的任何請求以協助相關調查。
公司澄清並確認，據董事所深知，(a)概無集團成員公司參與詐騙計劃或與此並無關連；(b)概無現有董事或現有職員為調查對象；(c)公司從未與黃金出借方訂立任何金條租賃協議，亦並未向黃金出借方租賃任何金條；(d)公司從未授權黃金出借方作為其黃金出借方業務的代理；及(e)公司從未就黃金出借方的金條租賃行為提供任何擔保。
董事會亦已向公司現有主要股東作出查詢，彼等均確認並無參與詐騙計劃及與此並無關連，且概無警務人員已就詐騙計劃與彼等聯絡，而彼等並未被香港警方會見、拘捕或通緝。公司對作出錯誤陳述的若干人士及實體保留採取法律行動的權利。
