金管局:因應低息及低通脹上調iBond定息息率
2020年通脹掛勾債券(iBond)最高發行額提升至150億元,金管局高級助理總裁劉應彬表示,若最終申請額低於150億元,將就全數申請額作出相應發行。他指是次上調定息部份主要由於通脹有上升空間,及銀行息率較低,但難以預測最終申請人數。
至於是次認購銀行不包括虛擬銀行,劉應彬指主要由於相關銀行開業時間不長,未有時間進行相關配套措施,大部份亦未申請持牌代表牌照。
是次發行安排行之一中銀香港(02388.HK)個人數字金融產品部副總經理周國昌預計,今次發行應可創最高認購人數及金額記錄,過往經該行申請iBond的客戶超過80%持有至到期。早前數批iBond經電子銀行渠道認購佔50%,他相信是次將會提升,早前經該行領取政府派發的1萬元有80%經電子銀行渠道申請。
