NEXION TECH(08420.HK)與XOX Bhd訂立臨時技術合夥協議
格隆匯 9 月 17日丨NEXION TECH(08420.HK)公告，於2020年9月17日，公司與XOXBhd("XOX")("訂約方"，統稱"訂約雙方")訂立臨時技術合夥協議，以建立長期穩定的戰略合夥關係，增強訂約雙方的競爭力，並擴大訂約雙方提供的產品及服務範圍。
根據臨時協議，訂約雙方已同意進一步協商以確定合夥的正式協議，當中載有(包括但不限於)，(i)訂約雙方各自的承諾；(ii)合夥的生效日期及期限；(iii)集團將提供的產品及服務，即向XOX及其附屬公司("XOX集團")提供設備及系統，以應對數字化轉型所暴露出的網絡安全風險及容易遭受數據泄露、惡意軟件攻擊、網絡釣魚的問題；(iv)XOX集團將提供的服務，即協助集團運營軟件即服務("SaaS")平台，為馬來西亞的個人及企業提供綜合服務；(v)訂約雙方將就在馬來西亞及其他國家通過SaaS系統運營共享經濟結算支付平台達成合作；(vi)訂約雙方將加強關於數字技術、智能化、網絡基礎設施解決方案及網絡安全解決方案的技術交流；(vii)集團將為XOX集團提供基於嵌入式SIM卡技術的馬來西亞新移動套餐計劃的網絡安全系統；及(viii)訂約雙方可能協定的其他法律及商業條款及條件。
集團為一間發展成熟的資訊及通訊技術解決方案提供商，主要從事於提供網絡基礎設施解決方案服務、網絡安全解決方案服務及SaaS。XOX為一間根據馬來西亞法律註冊成立的公司，併為首間於馬來西亞證券交易所(前稱吉隆玻證券交易所)上市的移動虛擬網絡營運商(股份代號：0165)。
XOX集團於未獲取無線電頻譜、移動及數字網絡基礎設施的許可頻率分配的情況下，主要從事於提供移動通信產品及服務。XOX集團為一間增強型服務提供商，其控制用户關係的各個方面，包括品牌名稱、定價、內容、廣告及市場推廣、客户服務以及資訊技術平台。XOX集團亦分銷其自身的SIM卡及運營其自身的計費系統、短訊中心以及網元。
董事會相信，透過與XOX合作，集團可：(i)擴展並開發其SaaS業務，包括向馬來西亞及其他國家的個人及企業提供共享經濟清算支付平台的綜合服務；(ii)透過向XOX集團提供集團的設備及網絡安全系統，擴展並開發網絡安全業務；及(iii)透過加強訂約雙方的技術交流，使其整體業務發展受益並增強其競爭力。
