传亚马逊计划在美国开设逾千小型派递中心
据《彭博通讯社》报道,亚马逊(AMZN.US)计划在美国开设1,000个小型派递中心,消息人士指最终派递中心数目有机会达1,500个,将令线上购物速度与到线下店购物拉近,并助与Walmart(WMT.US)竞争。
在疫情期间订单急增,亚马逊未能达到年初承诺的两日派递目标,受惠聘用达17.5万名新员工,派递时间终有改善,而公司亦正努力实行疫情前许下的承诺,令更多产品可为Prime用户实现当日派递。假期旺季将至,行政总裁Jeff Bezos正加大投资於仓储及送货等。
