贝莱德陈蕙兰:续沿用佣金制度难扩展ETF投资者基础
贝莱德亚洲主管陈蕙兰回覆本网查询时表示,扩展ETF投资者基础现时所遇到的主要障碍,在於ETF仍然依赖以佣金为收益的分销渠道。香港及澳洲以外亚洲其他市场继续沿用以佣金为收益的分销渠道,财务顾问没有很大的诱因推荐ETF,只继续专注互惠基金或结构性产品销售。
她指,由於本港几家ETF供应商均采用相同的分销渠道,而这些分销渠道也与互惠基金和结构性产品重叠,因而形成在香港的交易所买卖产品大多为传统上的高成本产品。虽然在推动机构投资者和富裕客户转用低成本ETF产品方面已取得成绩,但却有赖改变监管制度和加强教育,才能鼓励更多零售投资者采用低成本的ETF产品,相信随着投资者对基金收费和成本的敏感度提高,长远来说应能惠及成本低且效益高的ETF产品。
