永泰生物-B(06978.HK)：EAL®商業化進程加速 北京廠房建設如期啟動
格隆匯8月28日丨永泰生物-B(06978.HK)公佈2020年中期業績，集團的研發開支由上年同期的約人民幣2340萬元增加約306.1%至約人民幣9500萬元，主要是由於研發員工成本增加，主要是由於報告期間向研發員工提供購股權的影響及研發員工人數增加以及原材料開支增加所致。
集團是中國一家領先的細胞免疫治療生物醫藥公司，逾13年來專注於T細胞免疫治療的研發和商業化。EAL®－集團的核心在研產品－屬多靶點細胞免疫治療產品，在臨牀應用方面積累了超過十年的往績，並對多種癌症顯示出治療效果。集團於2006年起開展有關EAL®的研究，對細胞培養體系和方法進行了改進，並開發出具有獨立知識產權、用於生產EAL®細胞的專有技術平台。
集團選擇了預防肝癌術後復發作為EAL®臨牀試驗的臨牀適應症。集團計劃待臨牀試驗的結果達到統計學意義後，提交申請將EAL®在中國市場商業化。集團的產品管線覆蓋非基因改造及基因改造產品，以及多靶點及單靶點產品等主要類別的細胞免疫治療產品。除EAL®外，集團的主要在研產品包括CAR-T細胞系列及TCR-T細胞系列。
集團的技術核心團隊由資深癌症免疫學家組成，具有行業前瞻性和敏感性。集團建立了從早期研發、臨牀前研究、臨牀研究直至商業化生產和管理的研發組織結構，使得產品研發能夠快速推進。集團亦已建立細胞免疫治療產品研發所需的技術平台，並設立一個用於臨牀試驗的組織及管理平台。
集團位於北京的研發及生產中心總面積逾7,500平方米，能夠支撐在研細胞免疫治療產品的臨牀前及臨牀研發，以及在研產品獲批上市後早期生產需求，而所有該等設施均已取得北京市藥檢所發出的潔淨廠房(區)檢驗報告書。集團位於北京的國盛實驗室每年可處理約40,000份樣本，滿足產品管線兩至三年的臨牀試驗需求，以及EAL®商業化的前期生產需求。此外，集團亦在韓國建立了一個研究中心，重點開發與集團業務相關的新技術。
針對EAL®的六小時運輸半徑，集團正計劃在北京、上海及廣州等城市設立研發及生產中心，覆蓋全國人口稠密的地區，加速臨牀試驗進度，並滿足未來商業化需求。集團預期將於2021年底之前完成相關建設工程。
未來集團將加速EAL®的臨牀試驗進程，提前進行商業化佈局。集團計劃進一步增加投資，擴大參與進行中的EAL®II期臨牀試驗的地區，以加快臨牀試驗入組及獲得所需數據的速度，同時提前進行未來的商業化佈局。
當自實驗室取出細胞免疫治療產品後，細胞活性將有所減少。針對EAL®的六小時運輸半徑，集團正計劃在上海及廣州等地籌備成立研發及生產中心，覆蓋全國主要人口中心。在上海及廣州建立業務後，集團計劃在成都、武漢、西安及瀋陽等其他主要城市建立生產中心。於該公告日期，集團已開始在上海、廣州及若干其他主要城市物色合適地點。
EAL®於2018年9月入組第一例II期臨牀試驗患者，於該公告日期已入組186名患者。集團計劃在2020年下半年完成全部受試者的入組，並於2021年上半年前完成中期數據分析，並向國家藥監局申請有條件批准上市。
