据报墨西哥拉拢亚洲钢铁制造商及手机供应链迁厂
《路透社》报道,墨西哥经济部长Graciela Marquez表示,墨西哥已与许多外国企业交换意见,特别是钢铁制造商,希望能吸引亚洲企业利用新的北美贸易协议在墨西哥投资。
北美贸易协议(USMCA)於本月初生效,Marquez表示,在钢铁领域上的机遇最大,政府已与外国钢铁制造商包括南韩浦项制铁(POSCO)、日本新日铁住金(Nippon Steel)及三菱(Mitsubishi)等洽商,希望能为当地汽车行业生产钢材。
Marquez补充,政府还计划拉拢苹果及其他美国公司将供应链迁至墨西哥,认为手机不必在中国生产,在墨西哥亦有巨大的机会。
