标普:新一波疫情令港铁(00066.HK)信贷评级受压
评级机构标普发表报告,指新冠肺炎在香港爆发新一波疫情,触发香港政府再重新执行严格社交距离措施,或会减少本地交通需求,令港铁(00066.HK)的信贷评级受压,对原来已受到社会运动及疫情影响的客运数量构成压力。然而,该行在今次报告暂时未有作出评级调整。
该行认为,公司在未来几年会继续面对存在挑战性的环境,料此情况要直到2023年。另外,香港国际机场的客运水平未回复至疫情前水平,意味机场快线的复苏情况与机场同类业务相似。
港铁将因为成本超支及因应沙中线项目质素问题而被追讨,财务运作会可能比预期弱,相信港铁的营运资金相对债务比率会跌至18%以下,处於下调港铁评级的门槛水平,有关比率直到2021年才回复至20%以上。该行预测,公司经调整EBITDA将按年大跌近50%。
